What a beautiful little town. I arrived here around sunset and took a walk around its character full of narrow gullies. Really feel the texture of the ancient stone, the smell of beautiful food being cooked in restaurants. Really wish I spent a few more hours admiring the town
A bit overpriced for the length of the tour ($10), but the audioguides worked perfectly, the staff was excellent, and the bathroom was very clean. No pictures allowed inside.
Worth to come . You can not make pictures inside but the views , rooms and the garden worth the visit. There are only organize tours.
Great view of Valley of Orcia (Val d'Orcia) from Pienza. Small square in a lovely city with heritage.
A tiny little Palazzo with a wonderful link to Franco Zefirelli`s Romeo and Juliet movie (70`s). We loved the town as it was tiny, the attention from the staff was wonderful. We took the tour inside the Palazzo and it holds a lot of history and wonderful artifacts to understand how people lived in the past.
Came here near the end of winter. It is a beautiful and quiet place.
The surrounding area is very peaceful with not much crowd so you can only hear the wind, and the birds chirping while strolling around.
Its a small garden but the view from here is fantastic.
It is a nice place to visit in Pienza. Palace wasn't damaged during the war and has the original furniture and equipment.
The tour provided with Audioguide could be a bit longer. You don't really have a time to enjoy it. If you wonder, why you can't see any photos of the inside, well, it's prohibited to make any.
